Spring is Here!

Well at least this card will make you think it is! Though with the weather we have had recently you may wonder! Let's hope that is about to change (and that today was a sign of that!)

This is the card we made today at our hostess club. It is using the April Stamp of the Month, "Flower Pot" and the Veranda paper packet.



Are you looking at this going "Eeeek! I couldn't make that!" but really it wasn't that hard! A little bit of paper piecing, a little cutting (which the CTMH micro scissors are GREAT for!) and some coloring and VOILA!!

If my friends 9 year old could do it, so can you!

Is it May 1st yet???

I want to start sharing the new stuff with you, but how far is that when you can't purchase it until May 1st??? Do not fret, there are still wonderful things in the current catalog, snatch them up before they are retired or before supplies are gone!

So, thank you to Debbie & Nikki that not only left comments on my blog but tried to guess at the new paper packet names. They got a point for each comment they left AND will each get 5 points for guessing the new names of the paper packets.

Sorry for such a short and non-exciting post but we have been kind of under the weather in our house. I hope to have some artwork and sneak peaks for you soon!

HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY

Zippidee let the fun begin! It is the first of April and as you know, it was 4 years ago in April of 2006 that I decided to become a Close to my Heart consultant, and I have not regretted my decision once! I have a bunch of wonderful customers that have not only helped support my business but totally understand my addiction!

So as I said, throughout the month of April you can earn points for a drawing at the end of the month. You could receive a $20 CTMH gift certificate! So here is the first chance (via the blog) to earn points-5 points (1 ticket to be exact)!

So, as I mentioned the new Summer Idea Book will be available to customers on May 1st in all of it's splendor. I have seen it and let me tell you, I think maybe this is the best idea book yet!! The papers, the embellies, the accessories. OH MY LORD!! There are four new paper packets can you guess what they are? Hint: You will find the names throughout this post!

Let me give you a few teasers as to what you can expect - cute new animal stamp sets, another Ms. stamp set, rainbows, amusement parks, glitter. Let the young child in your life wander through the passages of wonder and amazement as they play with the board book you made out of your new My Creations board book. Oh and did I mention the cherries? Hi Ho Cherry-O there are a lot of cherries in this catalog! Paper, embellies, stamps.

Just one month to go - and in the mean time we will have fun celebrating my anniversary!
