Holy Scrap Batman!!

So I recently swapped rooms with Shelby. She is now in my old craft room and I am in her old room. Oh how I love lavender walls with butterflies all over (input gagging sound here). Well in doing so I have also cleaned and got rid of stuff. It also helped that we had a garage sale this weekend so I had to go through my junk and widdle it down. Then Friday I went to the Ben Franklin in Monroe because they had a 9 pm to Midnight sale and had these paper storage cubes for over 50% off their regular price. So that meant more reorganizing today and boy....do I have a lot of scrap paper. No I am not talking about scrapbooking paper, I mean SCRAP paper. You know, the little bits of paper left over after all of your cutting and creating that you go "Hmm, better save this because I may want to use it again." Uh huh....

So here it is...my scrap pile.

I have NO idea what I should do with this. Part of me does want to keep it as it could be useful but there is the other part of me that tells myself I have had this pile for a few years now and I have NEVER used the scraps. Oh, what do do. What to do.

So my question to all of you...what do you do with your scraps? Do you toss or keep them? Inquiring minds wanna know.

ha! my pile is twice a big as yours! well i guess that's not funny. i have sat down to scrapbook or make cards limiting myself to only the scrap and that makes hardly a dent. so a couple times a year i donate bags of scrap to my sons prek class. his teacher drooled with excitment each time i walked in with these goodie bags.

I keep my scraps, of course! However, mine aren't as organized as yours. Mine are every where and not in a nice pile! Why didn't you tell me about the BF Fri. night deal?

This is a great question! I often wondered the same thing. I keep all my CTMH paper in the bags it comes in, scraps, cardstock, and patterned paper. For non-CTMH I have a drawer organizer on wheels from Costco that I store some of my supplies. There are 6 13x13 drawers...2 have 3D embellies, 2 have patterned paper, and 2 are for scraps (1 drawer for cardstock and 1 for patterned paper). I, too, mostly end up just collecting it, but I've done the same as Heather where I sit down and limit myself to ONLY the scraps in the scrap drawers.

Once my scrapbook room is totally organized I should do a video. I love seeing how other people's rooms are set up :)

Ok, I'm responding to your comment on my blog answering your question about my tri-panel card :)
