Walking in Seattle's Latte Land!

So I meant to post this last night but got the silly idea to update my blog background first and in doing that got it totally screwed up and then had to stay up until I fixed it!

Anyway, I had seen this on another consultants blog awhile back and have just been saving the instructions in my email until yesterday. Yesterday I went over to my uplines house and got a bug to do more scrapbooking when I got home! And I made this card!

I had to go with red because, well, that is the color of the cups at 'Bucks for the holidays. Then I have some Kraft colored paper from the competition (shhhh, don't tell anyone!) I had to use that paper though because it makes the perfect coffee sleeve! Run it through my Fiskars crimper and it looks like a real one!

I wish I had easy instructions for you, but to be honest, the ones I had confused me! (it doesn't take much though!) so I just played around with different measurements until I liked the size. It was fun and pretty easy to make too!

Ho, Ho, Ho! Merry Christmas

I apologize for being a bad scrapbook blogger. It has been almost three months! But I just haven't worked on that many projects. I finally got around to working on some stuff today and thought I would post those before another three months go by!

So here is a card I made using one of the clear cards and a leg lamp stamp I bought online. As I have stated before I don't always use CTMH stamps and here is one of those cases. I went to see A Christmas Story @ The 5th Avenue and they had homemade cards using this stamp! So I just had to find it! I wanted to use it AND one of the clear cards but wasn't sure how. But then I thought...in the movie the lamp sits int the window right? So here ya go! THe lamp in the window!

These next items are ones that I will be helping Shelby's class make. The bag is EASY, and nothing really too exciting there. But the wreath...that was interesting! I didn't follow directions and that was a no-no on my part! That will teach me to be all cocky and think I don't need directions! Once I watched the video tutorial on this again I fixed my paper folding and the wreath went together quite easily!
