Do you stare blankly at your white scrapbook base page? Do you create a page just to tear off the papers you put down because it's not how you wanted it? If so, then you suffer from nocreativejuicesflowing-itis! You want to scrapbook but the ideas and creativity is just not flowing through your system! Don't worry! This is not a serious condition and you will eventually get over this on your own. However there are a few home remedies you can try so as not to allow nocreativejuicesflowing-itis to stick around for a long period of time.
First, step back and take a breather. Clear the head, go grab yourself a coffee, do some stretches
Second, grab a scrapbook magazine or some other type of how-to program. Don't have your own creative juices - steal someone else's! :)
and Third, journal various ideas that pop in to your head. This can help with creating layouts or even give you ideas of pictures you may want to take!
Summer is here. What do you remember about summer? I watched my daughter the other day jumping through the sprinkler, I just sat and listened, looked and took it all in!
Here are some ideas for you. Find or take pictures that remind you of the following or write down words that come to mind as you read these! Or even colors that come to mind!!
- Carefree Days
- Colors of Summer
- Feelings of Summer
- Smells of Summer
- Sounds of Summer
- Tastes of Summer
- Textures of Summer
- Traditions of Summer
- Sunshine
- Warmth
- Water
- Wind
Hmm, maybe I should get off of the computer and start working on a page...I think I may be on the mend from nocreativejuicesflowing-itis!
